On Earth or in orbit (pre-launch)
Medical emergency: alert terminal staff immediately — automated external medkits are located every 50 meters in TELETREKS facilities. Fire or depressurization: follow illuminated strips to the nearest shelter; do not attempt to retrieve cargo.
During flight
Passengers follow crew instructions without exception. Alarm signals and light codes are explained during boarding. Hull breach, radiation storm, or life-support degradation trigger automated isolation of compartments and staged power-downs.
Priority beacon codes
- Code Amber: localized malfunction — remain seated, await crew.
- Code Crimson: abandon compartment or proceed to designated refuge — suits if required.
- Code Void: vessel-wide — follow cryo-bay or escape-pod assignments; crew has final authority.
