Allowances by cabin class
Exact limits vary by route and vessel; figures below are typical for inner-system flights. Exoplanet routes may impose stricter personal mass limits due to multi-decade staging.
- Orbit Class: 2 checked containers (≤ 25 kg each), 1 carry-on (≤ 8 kg), plus one personal item (e.g. tablet, jacket).
- Stellar Suite: 3 checked containers (≤ 30 kg each), expanded carry-on, priority stowage.
- Cryo Class: 1 sealed personal capsule (≤ 15 kg) stored in cryo-adjacent locker; additional items may ship as cargo for a fee.
Prohibited & restricted
Open flames, pressurized vessels beyond approved medical kits, unregistered transmitters, and autonomous drones are not permitted in passenger compartments. Magnetic or volatile samples require declaration and hazardous-materials packaging.
Oversize & cargo
Scientific equipment, instruments, and artwork may travel as cargo. Book at least 90 Earth days before departure for customs coordination between orbital hubs.
